Oct.17: York 2 Western 1

LONDON, Ont. -  Sonia Sampogna scored the game-winning goal for the York Lions to defeat The Western Mustangs (4-6) in a close game at York Stadium on Sunday.

York's other goal was scored by Camille Pereira, and Courtney Stacks kicked in Western's only goal.

Western led 1- 0 at the half and York scored two goals in 10 minutes in the second.

The Mustangs host Windsor on Wednesday night 6:30 pm.
