WINDSOR, Ont. - The Western Mustangs women's volleyball team handled the Windsor Lancers 3-1 on Friday evening.
Western won the first set 29-27 before dropping the second set 26-24. The Mustangs would respond and take the next two sets, 25-18 and 25-16.
Kelly Frittenberg had 15 kills for the Mustangs adding two aces as well. Elaine Screaton added 10 kills while having 12 digs.
The Mustangs are now 2-1 on the season. The Mustangs will have some time to regroup as there next game will not be until Nov. 14 when they travel to Ottawa to take on the Gee-Gees at 2 p.m.
Western will be back in action in Alumni Hall on Nov. 26 when they take on the Brock Badgers at 7 p.m.
