LONDON, Ont. - The Western Mustangs women's soccer team battled the Brock Badgers to a scoreless draw Saturday afternoon at TD Waterhouse Stadium. While each team had a number of scoring chances, neither team could capitalize on their opportunities.
Jodie Scoular and Melanie Oberholzer both played well in net to keep the Badgers off the scoresheet.
Western had a number of excellent chances in the second half as Jenna Schroeder collected a rebound in the 55th minute and had her shot go off the crossbar. Brock's goaltender Syreeta Rhoden played exceptional in net, making a diving save off a Emily Deckert strike in the 68th minute that was headed to the back of the net.
