LONDON, Ont. - Coming off a 70-62 win at Laurier on Saturday, the Western Mustangs will look to sweep the home and away series as they face the Golden Hawks on Wednesday, Jan. 26 at 6 p.m.

The 12-2 Mustangs currently hold a slim half-game lead over the 11-2 Windsor Lancers, with Laurier and Lakehead tied for third place in the OUA West with 10-4 records.

Western is second in the OUA in points per game, scoring 72.9 a game while holding opponents to a league-best 52.4 points per game.

Matteke Hutzler is eight in the OUA averaging 14.8 points per game while adding seven rebounds as well. Her 56.3% field goal percentage is second in the province. 

Jenny Vaughan is third in the OUA with 3.7 assists per game while averaging 12.5 points per contact. Jacklyn Selfe at 13 points per game is the other Mustang averaging in double figures.

Following the game against Laurier the Mustangs will head on the road to face Waterloo on Sat. Jan. 29 for a 1 p.m. tipoff.
