Western struggled from the field against the strong defence of Windsor shooting 35%, below their season average of 47%. They pulled off the victory as they continued the stingy defence that they have shown all season. The Mustangs have held opponents to an OUA-best 48.9 points per game.
Following the game against the Marauders the Mustangs will head out on a four-game road trip. They will take on Brock on Jan. 12 at 6 p.m. and then head to Guelph on Jan. 15 for a 1 p.m. tipoff. The Mustangs next home game will be Jan. 26 at 6 p.m. in Alumni Hall against Laurier.
