The Paladins took a turn and controlled home court in the second set, outscoring the Mustangs in kills with a 23.3% kill percentage to top Western’s 6.2% percentage. The second took a reverse outcome as the point for point affair continued only to give RMC the victory for this round, defeating Western in a close 24-26.

The loss alarmed the Mustangs and immediately the team took the third set with vengeance, outplaying the Paladins, beating them in a quick 25-11 match.

RMC was not letting up as easy for Western, however, as the home team came into the fourth match looking for revenge -- which they eventually pursued. RMC powered past Western defeating them with a solid eight point lead 25-17.

Entering the final set of the game, the Mustangs and Paladins were tied for victory, both teams aiming for the top. It was a close match with both teams scoring relative to each other, white and purple only 0.4% behind RMC’s fifth-set-kill-percentage.
