In game 2, the Lancers scored an unearned run in the 1st and a second run in the 2nd inning to take the early lead. Stranding runners on second and third in each of the first three innings, the Mustangs had trouble getting untracked but did score two in the 3rd to tie the game. Then in the 4th inning they broke the game wide open with 5 consecutive hits including RBI doubles by Kara Stirling (London, ON), Jenn Wakefield, and Kristen Herman (Saskatoon, SK) scoring 6 more runs. The game ended on the run rule in the 5th when Jenn Wakefield drove in Carly Monk (Hillsburgh, ON) with a single to left field.
