Nutrition/Activity Experts to Speak March 23 on Campus

Mark your calendar today and plan to visit campus on Saturday, March 23 to learn how the latest diet and exercise research applies to you.  

Designed for the nonspecialist, this year's symposium is entitled "Lifestyle Choices & Health" and features talks on the Paleolithic diet, intermittent fasting for body fat loss, alkaline, ionized water for health & performance, importance of rest/relaxation, Canada's new physical activity guidelines, what it is like to be a fitness professional & how to become one, what the life of an adventure scientist involves, as well as how to incorporate all this knowledge into a busy 21st century lifestyle.  

Experts include:  Dr. Simon Donato (Adventure racer), Dr. John Berardi (Precision Nutrition), Dr. Kresimir Jug (Life by Design), Dr. Pete Lemon (Western) as well as Melissa Maloney (GoodLife Fitness), Lisa Donald (GoodLife Fitness), Graeme Thomas (pt Health), Dylan Olver (Western), Paul Valiulis (Precision Nutrition), and Sarah Merkel (Canadian Centre for Activitiy & Ageing).  Importantly, there will be two Ask the Experts Panel Discussions so get a group together and join us for what promises to be a very informative day!
