Kara Stirling (4-0; London, ON) pitched 4 innings and got the win. Freshman Mac Hawlins (1-0; Whitby, ON) finished with one inning of releif.

In game 2, Western scored once in the first inning and six times in the fourth inning en route to a 7-1 victory.
