After returning home winless from a pair of road games in Toronto last weekend that saw the squad fall to Ryerson and Toronto, the Mustangs now prepare to host a pair of weekend games against York (12-3) on Friday and Nipissing (0-15) on Sunday. With four games left in the regular season the Mustangs now hold a 3-12 record and are currently tied for sixth in the OUA West Division.
The Mustangs have been forced to be a versatile team this year after being plagued early in the season by injury and illness. Already a young team, the purple and white have seen multiple position and starting line-up changes but have still continued to improve throughout the season.
The team is led by fourth-year
Stephanie Kreuter with 3.59 points per set which places her in the top 15 on the OUA scoring leaderboard. Kreuter also leads the team defensively with 148 digs and 18 blocks on the season. Assisting in the team's offence are second-years
Kenzie Macdonald and
Candice Scott with 2.81 and 2.76 points per set, respectively.
