Coming off five set win over RMC a hard-fought five set loss to Queen's last weekend, the Mustangs are prepared to improve their 1-2 record with a Friday October 31 game against Waterloo at Alumni Hall, followed by a match against Guelph the following day.

Kelsey Veltman currently leads the team in total kills and total blocks with 30 and 14 respectively, while sharing the top number of service aces with fellow first year

Courtney Sestric ranks third within the CIS in digs per set with 5.67, while Julia Tomczack holds second place in assists per set with 10.33.

Matching Western's record with one win and two losses, Waterloo looks to Friday to end their current two game losing streak.

Shannon Lodoen, a third year Waterloo native, currently leads the Warriors and the CIS in service aces per set while senior player Natasha Spaling leads the team in total kills and total blocks.

Last year the Mustangs and Warriors split their regular season series, with Waterloo taking their first match 3-1 on October 25, before the Mustangs won the return match by the same 3-1 score on February 7.

With a current record of 1-2, Guelph looks to repeat last season's dual wins over the Western Mustangs while improving upon their 2013-14 regular season record of 14-5.

With 29 kills, sophomore Madison Dedecker leads the team in total kills and kills per set, while veteran player Jennifer Johnstone leads the team in service aces and service aces per set.Â
