After placing third in the OUA East Division standings last year, the Rams fell short of a championship, losing in the semi-finals. They come back in this 2014-15 season with three new recruits and 13 returning players.

The first two games of the season have ended in the Rams favour, as they won 87-54 against the Waterloo Warriors before repeating the same score against the Laurier Golden Hawks. Rams senior Jamal Jones, the OUA first-team all-star last season, has come back strong so far this year, scoring a game high total of 24 points against the Golden Hawks.

Following close behind him is second-year Ram Jean-Victor Mukama, who was named the OUA East Rookie of the Year last season. Leading the team in rebounds in their season opener, Mukama has proven early on that he will be a key player for the Rams once again.
