The Mustangs start this weekend coming off a 10-point victory against the Windsor Lancers last Friday. They prepare to take on the Ryerson Rams and Toronto Varsity Blues on the weekend.

Western is currently tied in second place with the Lancers in the OUA West Division Standings with a record of 2-1. They follow the Laurier Golden Hawks who are two points ahead of them with a game in hand.

Greg Morrow continues to lead the team, recording an average of 29 points per game, and consistently recording the game-high individual score in their games. He made a large impact on their contest against the Lancers, scoring 28 points.
Alex Coote made an impression on the court on Friday, recording a career-high 23 points to help the Mustangs keep their large lead over the Lancers.
Peter Scholtes follows his teammate with 12.7 points per game, and was an impressive 75% from the three-point line against Windsor.

After a one-point victory over the Toronto Varsity Blues, Ryerson defeated the McMaster Marauders and Waterloo Warriors by margins of over 10 points.

Adika Peter-McNeilly leads the Rams with 22.3 points per game, scoring over 20 points in every contest this season. Three other players have managed double digits per game, with third-year player Ammanuel Diressa scoring 15.3 points per game.

Senior Varsity Blues player Devin Johnson records a team-high 26.3 points per game, followed by teammate and rookie Devon Williams with 13 points per game. Williams scored 23 points in his first game in the OUA against the Ryerson Rams and continuously makes his presence on the court noticeable to his opponents.

Johnson also leads the defence with 9 rebounds per game, with Manny Sahota and Daniel Johansson following with 5.7 catches of the glass. With an average of 1.7 steals per game, Johnson is a key player for the Blues defence, making him a big threat to the Mustangs.
