The Queen's Gaels have seen success in their last two wins after defeating Guelph and Lakehead over the weekend. Their record improves to 9-5 placing them second in OUA East standings.
Fourth year guard, Sukhpreet Singh, leads the team and closely follows Morrow in the CIS standings with an average of 23.3 points per game. Scoring double digits in every game this season, he recorded the game-high 36 points in the Gaels' recent victory over Lakehead.

Defensively Graham takes over as the top player, averaging 5.9 rebounds under Queen's net, while Singh follows up with 6.4.
Last season's matchup of the two teams resulted in the Gaels narrowly edging out the Mustangs by one point. While Western's top players are back, Queen's has since lost their leading offensive player in Greg Faulkner.

Western at York - Saturday, February 13 at 8:00 p.m. - Watch live on OUA.tv
The York Lions currently sit fourth in the East division with a 3-11 record, finding success against Nipissing, Laurentian, and Laurier early in the season. Moving into the weekend, the Lions will be looking to break out of their current seven game losing streak.
York is led by guards Shane Reader and Nathan Culbreath who have 13.9 and 13.8 points per game, respectively. Reader also shines defensively, as the six foot guard's 3.8 rebounds per game sit behind only fellow junior Tommy Hobbs with 3.9.
The Lions early defeats came from deficits of more than ten points, yet their most recent losses came within ten points. With an increased determination to win the next couple games and close out the regular season with an improved win percentage, the Lions will have to pick up their pace and produce strong defence towards the likes of the Mustangs.Â
