London, ON - We were saddened to receive news of the death of Marilyn (Kreuger) Wearring (BA'54) on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at the age of 90.

Marilyn was a true embodiment of the Mustangs spirit and was a multi-sport athlete during the 1950's. She was a member of the basketball, softball, and cheerleading teams, as well as the volleyball team time during their 13-year consecutive  stretch as provincial league champions. She was also the Women's Curling team coach from 1978-1980. Marilyn was a founding member of the Women's Athletic Alumnae (WAA) and served as President from 1992-1994. Her impact on Western Athletics was unmatched. 

Marilyn was pre-deceased by her husband George (2013) and is survived by their 4 children and their families.
