London, ON - The Mustangs join the greater London sports community in mourning the passing of former coach and Mustangs student-athlete Vaughan Peckham.

Peckham passed away on Tuesday, April 23 after a long battle with cancer.

His passion for Volleyball has been instrumental in many aspects across London and area for several years at the youth, high school & post secondary levels.

Peckham was a two-time team captain during his university career with the Mustangs Men's Volleyball team in the late 60's, winning two OUAA championships. He would receive the prestigious Mustangs Purple Blanket in 1972.

Peckham would go on to be the Head Coach of the Mustangs Men's Volleyball team from 1978-1985, those teams would win OUAA titles in 1978,1980 & 1985.
