London, ON - The Mustangs dominated the field on Saturday night against the Waterloo Warriors, winning their match 61-0.
The team scored a total of 11 tries and three conversions, totaling in their 61 points, with three conversions coming from #14, Reilly Cattell. #15, Taylor MacDonald, scored all three conversions.
Defence was a priority in the game today, with Coach Josh Campbell stating that he "tells the girls that 0 is the aim for defence" and this was demonstrated during the game, with the Warriors going scoreless in the match.
There has been an emphasis on building what they have learned, says #12, Cassie Osutchuk, a senior on the team.
The program recognized their graduating seniors after the game as this was their last Saturday home game of the regular season.
