LONDON, Ontario - The Mustangs Women's Rugby team is moving on in the OUA Playoffs after a 46-13 win over the Laurier Golden Hawks on Saturday afternoon.

Kennedy Johnstone continued her dominant season with three tries and two conversions. Reilly Cattell added a pair of tries of her own in the win.

"I feel like there were a lot of good moments, and then there were some moments where we kind of lost ourselves," said Johnstone. "We came out of two really, really hard weeks, so I think just building off of everything, it was overall good, but it's going into semis. We need to just fine-tune some things.

Katrina Wright, Abby Aikman and Tess Kristoff also scored tries for Western.

"We had a lot of really good plays of the day. We worked on certain strike moves, and they happened to come off. These are good when they happen." said Head Coach Josh Campbell. "It's a quarterfinal playoff win, so I'm happy. Anytime you can get through in the playoffs, I mean, it's a good day."
