Kingston, ON - In one of closest competition in OUA Cross Country history, the Mustangs Women's team finished in 3rd place at the 2025 OUA Cross Country Championship on Saturday.

Western finished with 71 points, just behind Queen's & Windsor, who tied with 70 points. Queen's won the tiebreaker with a higher sixth place finisher.

Maria Linton was the top individual finisher for the Mustangs, finishing 4th. Sophie Coutts finished just behind her in 5th place. Both were named First Team All-Stars.

The Men's team finished 5th with 109 points. Liam Smith was the top individual finisher for Western in 11th. Smith & Robin Faricier were named Second Team All-Stars.
