2025 Mustangs Purple Blanket Recipient

Kenneth will graduate as Western Mustangs, OUA, and U SPORTS all-time greatest horizontal jumper.

He holds the Western record in long jump and triple jump, the OUA record in long jump and triple jump, and the U SPORTS record in triple jump. His furthest long jump this season is the furthest in U SPORTS regular season history, surpassing the existing U SPORTS Championships record. He holds every record he possibly can as a USPORTS athlete. It is incredibly rare for an athlete to hold records at this level in more than one event.

He has won 5 OUA individual event medals (3 gold), 6 U SPORTS individual event medals (3 gold). Last season, Kenneth's double gold performance at the OUA championships - which is very rare - helped the men's team claim gold.

At this years OUA championships, Kenneth won the long jump, jumping over half a meter further than any other competitor. His jump of 7.99m broke the 8 year old OUA record by 28cm and is the 3rd furthest indoor long jump in Canadian history. This leap put him 6cm off the Canadian record which is currently held by Olympian Damian Warner. This feat earned him earn the Hee Phillips trophy which is awarded to the men's MVP of the meet.

This season, Kenneth was also named the OUA Male Field Athlete of the Year and U SPORTS Male Field Athlete of the Year.
