2025 Mustangs Purple Blanket Recipient
Shona has been one of the best in the pool in the country in her time with the Mustangs.
She is a nationally carded athlete and has been for the past 2 years. She has been on selected Provincial and National teams traveling across the globe.
Shona's recent performance at Olympic trials in 2024 saw her narrowly miss making the Olympic team with goals to pursue LA 2028 under coach Paul Midgley.
She holds all of Western's breaststroke records, including all OUA breaststroke records, and the U SPORTS record in the 50 meter breaststroke. Shona received athlete of the year for western in 2023 and 2024 for her outstanding accomplishments in the pool.
Even with these massive accomplishments, Shona is always focused on improving and pursuing the next accomplishment in her career.
