London, ON - The Western Mustangs Athletes of the Week for the week ending March 15 are Josh Andari (Figure Skating) & Shona Branton (Swimming).

Andari won 4 gold medals at the 2026 OUA Figure Skating Championship last week. He took gold in the Star 10 Couple Dance, Gold Solo Dance, Dance Fours & Syncro. His efforts were a big part of the Mustangs push for a banner this year, eventually securing a silver medal for Western.

Branton picked up a pair of bronze medals from the 2026 U SPORTS Swimming Championships. She opened the event with a 3rd place finish in the Women's 100m Breaststroke and added another bronze on day three when she finished in 30.64 seconds to capture her second medal of the weekend.
