SEASON RECAP
The Mustangs had outstanding performances across both the field and track events at the OUA Championship, coming away in the silver medal position on both the men's and women's sides. Western picked up gold medals from Maria Linton (Women's 3000m), Aaron Thompson (Men's 300m), Jackson Mackay (Men's Long Jump), Liv Sands (Women's Shot Put). Thompson and Mackay were named Community Service Award & Rookie of the Year, respectively.

At the U SPORTS Championship, the men's team won back-to-back banners after three days of intense competition at the University of Manitoba.

The Men's team finished with 64 points, just 3.5 points clear of the Alberta Golden Bears. The Women's team battled hard and finished 4th with 66 points.

Head Coach Caroline Ehrhardt was named the winner of the Bob Boucher Award as Men's Team Coach of the Year. Thompson and Mackay repeated the provincial awards, both named the U SPORTS award winners for Community Service Award & Rookie of the Year.
