London, ON - The Dr. Claude Brown Memorial Trophy is awarded to the Mustangs male student-athlete who has made the most outstanding contribution to intercollegiate athletics during their career.

The nominees for the 2025-26 Dr. Claude Brown Memorial Trophy include:
  • Lukas Geske (Wrestling, School of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies)
  • Erik Andersen (Football/King's University College)
  • Kieran Stone (Swimming/Science)
The 2025-26 Dr. Claude Brown Memorial Trophy winner is Lukas Geske (Wrestling, School of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies).

Across five seasons with the Mustangs Wrestling program, Lukas has compiled one of the most accomplished and dominant competitive careers in Westem's modem athletic history. His unprecedented success at the conference level, exceptional national results, academic excellence, and leadership through example make him an outstanding candidate for this award.

He amassed a career record of 91-11, representing sustained excellence across five seasons. Lukas is the only Mustang wrestler ever to win five consecutive OUA Championships (2022-2026). Across those five titles, he compiled a perfect 20-0 record, outscoring opponents 197-36 and earning 14 wins by technical superiority. In his final two OUA Championships, he won every match by technical superiority.

Beyond competition, Lukas represents the highest standards of Mustang Athletics. He is a three-time Academic All-Canadian and is on track to earn the distinction again this year while completing his master's degree in Kinesiology.
