Vaughan, a first-year Education student, helped Western close out the first half with its eighth and ninth straight victories with wins over Brock and McMaster at Alumni Hall. The Dundas, Ontario, native scored 51 points over the two games and currently leads the OUA in scoring with 23.4 points-per-game. It’s the second time this season that Vaughan has been named Athlete of the Week, also taking the honours on November 18 after scoring 50 points in two wins over Toronto and Ryerson.
