When speaking to Head Coach Martin Painter after the game he explained that "it was a really good performance by us. We controlled the bulk of the game. We had a couple moments in transition where it caused us problems defensively but for the most part of the game, we played really well. I think we did enough for a goal, unfortunately just got to be a little sharper in front of goal but again, credit to [Brock] and got a little bit unfortunate with a couple of the decision today."
When asked what they were going to work on for the next game, Coach Painter went on to say that "we played like we want to play today which is good, a team that dominates the ball. I thought we had good ideas, good composure, created good situations, just a little sharper with our movement and our final product in and around the box and then just, again, being able to defend when we have to – you know it was a really good performance, I thought that was a good game, Brock is obviously a good team, top of the standings but I think we are at a stage now where we are happy with the way we are playing and we are confident in no matter who we play that we can go on and beat them. "
The team will take on the Algoma Thunderbirds on Saturday in their last away game of the regular season.
