Mustangs find the podium at Marauder Bayfront Open

Hamilton, ON – The Mustangs continued their strong fall season on Friday, October 10, competing at the Marauder Bayfront Open hosted by McMaster University. Both the women's and men's teams delivered impressive performances, highlighted by multiple podium finishes and top team results.

The women's team captured first place overall, led by Victoria Lamb, who earned her second consecutive podium finish, placing third in the 8-kilometre race. She was closely followed by Sophie Coutts, Maria Linton, and Clara Fava, all finishing within the top ten. Juliana Hendrikxrounded out Western's scoring runners to secure the team victory.

On the men's side, Robin Faricier led the Mustangs with a strong seventh-place finish, continuing his momentum from the previous week's performance at Notre Dame. Saurang Puthenkulangara, Satveer Gill, Ethan Cannon, and Skylar Grossi rounded out the scoring group, helping the team to a sixth-place overall finish.

With the OUA Championship just around the corner, the Mustangs will look to build on their success as they prepare to compete in Kingston on October 25.
