TORONTO -Amanda Anderson (Chatham, Ont.) scored 42 points in a pair of weekend games to lift Western to a 7-1 first-half record against OUA East opponents entering the holiday break. 

On Nov. 28 against Toronto, Western defeated the Varsity Blues 84-67, led by Anderson's 19-point effort.
Western led 51-33 at the half, and outscored the Blues 30-6 from three-point range.

Katelyn Leddy (London, Ont.) earned her second double-double against CIS schools with 13 points and 10 boards, while came off the bench to score 15 points.
