ORLANDO – The 2017-18 OUA and U SPORTS seasons may be over, however members of the Western Mustangs cheerleading team have one more competition on the books before the end of the year, as they represent Team Canada at the 2018 International Cheer Union World Championships from April 26-27 at the Walt Disney World Resort.
 
A total of 16 Mustangs are represented on the Canadian squad, including four alumni and 12 current team members. The Mustangs participated in the Opening Ceremonies and Parade of Nations on Wednesday before they head into first round competition on Thursday afternoon, with the finals set for Friday.
