Guelph, ON - Western Cheerleading continued their dominance of the co-ed premier division at the 2026 PCA National Collegiate Open this weekend.
The team won the competition for the 38th time with a final team score of 156.7. The competition is completed over two rounds. Western built a 5.5 point lead after round 1 and stretched it out with an almost flawless performance in round 2 to end up 13.7pts ahead of Queen's for the overall win.
Western's All-girls team finished 2nd in the premier event. They had a rough opening round and were in 4th spot going into the final but they had a near perfect 2nd round and pulled off a "Tom Brady-esque" comeback to pull up to 2nd place.
Congratulations to the entire team on an outstanding performance.
